ADC Sheets

A typical ADC sheet has three “cast-in” matte surface finishes for superior glare reduction. It comes in three types: standard, high-temperature-resistant, and high-impact-resistant. ADC monomer has been used for many years in the manufacture of ophthalmic lenses. More than 80% of ophthalmic plastic lenses are made of ADC. Meanwhile, ADC polymer is cast from a family of proprietary allyl diglycol carbonate formulations that produce an optical sheet with superior properties for all display applications.

Uses and Applications

ADC is found in all scanner types, visible, infrared, laser, and CCD Imagers. Display readout windows and optical filters are also custom fabricated from ADC to meet the most demanding applications and are available in almost any thickness, shape, or color. ADC is accurately cut to size with state-of-the-art precision laser cutting technology.
